#5629 Chinoiserie Old Bronze Miniature Medicine Buddha set of two 4" H

 This set of two 4" miniature Medicine Crowned Lord Buddha sculptures depicts Mahāyāna Buddhism's Buddha of healing and medicine, with a bowl held in his right hand. Minor wear and losses are visible on the pieces, which measure 1" wide by 1" deep. Historically, these mini Buddhas were held in the traveler's hand and used as a prayer aid when away from home. The back crown is signed.
